Stampede Sunshine
Hang on to your hat and get those cowboy boots on! Enjoy the Stampede spirit in delicious style with our Stampede Sunshine Experience. The best of the midway and your Stampede BBQ favourites all in one!
The menu is designed for two cowpokes and would be perfect enjoyed on your back patio or with line dancing friends in your driveway. Deadline to place your order is midnight on Wednesday, July 8 for pick up on Friday, July 10 between 3- 6 PM or delivery on Saturday, July 11th between 10 – 2 PM.
Freezer of Love
Chuckwagon cooks had to slave over a hot stove in the summer but you don’t have to! Devour is offering freezer packages of fantastic meals ready-to-go. Our freezer package was so popular in June that we have created a new one for July. These packages are perfect to give as a gift too! This month we are offering a soup, two selections of a freezer dinner, strawberry rhubarb icebox pie, and a bag of chile lime popcorn. Place your order soon!
Picnic Perfection
Summer time and the living is easy right? Well we think should be! We have simplified our perfect picnic to make it easy to take on the go or to order several for a physically distanced picnic in the park with friends or a casual summer afternoon in your garden.
The picnic is built for two guests. A buttermilk fried chicken sandwich steals the show in this picnic box. Add some Dandy Beer or Annex Sodas for pizzazz and you are all set! Get your picnic started here.
We’re Helping to Feed Great Kids!
Since early June we have been making hundreds of lunches every day for kids all over Calgary. We are part of an amazing ‘Lunch Bunch’ comprised of dedicated teachers from schools in Bowness, Julie van Rosendaal the maven of the Calgary food scene, volunteers in seven communities, and Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids. As soon as schools closed, everyone involved immediately saw the need for kids to have access to food every day since many were relying on schools for this. With no school – this meant no food.
You can support all of these amazing organizations by checking out the Bowness Food Network and their GO FUND ME page that is providing 1,000 lunches a week to kids and families in their community. To date, they have raised over $22,000. Calgary’s Kitchen started by Julie van Rosendaal is set up to support restaurants and food service providers who can create food for those in need while providing revenue for these hard hit businesses. Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids is known throughout the city for their amazing work. Before school closures in March, they were providing close to 5,000 lunches a day through schools in Calgary.
How to Host a Safe Party
We have been catering some smaller serviced events and are following the recommendations and guidelines to keep every party and everyone safe.
