Many couples ask us if it is possible to have their ceremony and wedding reception outside Calgary and in a rural or ‘rustic’ location. The short answer to this question is – you bet it is! When we work with wedding couples who have their hearts set on a special and meaningful location for their wedding that isn’t ‘serviced’ or close to amenities we get pretty excited. We know they will be a huge amount of work but they are always very special and definitely unforgettable.
We have catered many weddings in and around Calgary in absolutely stunning outdoor locations. Many of these places are beautiful precisely because they are somewhat ‘wild’. And, what makes for a beautiful and romantic place to get married doesn’t necessarily mean its set up as a place to have 200 of your friends and family come for a wedding. Many of the outdoor weddings we cater are in locations that have no access to fresh water, no power, and no bathrooms.

While the logistics of holding a wedding in an out-of-town location can take much of the focus, we are just as concerned about the preparation and service of your food. We carefully engineer all of our tent wedding menus so that all items can be finished on site to ensure they are delicious and beautiful. We never prepare our items and hold them in hot boxes for hours waiting to be served.
